Convenient transportation options from the airport with bus and taxi services. Helpful and friendly staff, including the owner, who went above and beyond to assist guests. Breakfast served with flexibility for early check-outs. Clean common room with free fresh fruit for snacks. Safe neighborhood during daytime.

Rooms are a bit compact and shared bathrooms are outside the rooms. Neighborhood is not upscale but still felt safe during daytime.

The location was convenient for both the bus station and airport, with affordable Uber rides. The common area was also a nice addition, providing a cozy space to relax.

I recently stayed at Mama Backpackers for a few nights and it was absolutely lovely. The owner, Mama, was incredibly welcoming and always available to help. The hostel had a cozy and quiet atmosphere, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. The hand-painted decor added a unique touch to the place. The dorm room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including AC. The location was convenient, just a short ride away from the airport. I highly recommend this authentic and friendly hostel for a stay in Lima.
